NUO, the Asset Management platform for Comal

Comal renews its trust in Vector Renewables by expanding the use of the NUO asset management platform one year after the first contract and integrating the NUO APLS (Automatic Power Limitation Service) functionality.

Comal, a leading EPC contractor (Engineering, Procurement and Construction) and O&M (Operation & Maintenance) provider in the solar power industry, confirms its trust in NUO, the proprietary asset management platform developed by Vector Renewables, by enhancing it with the purchase of the NUO APLS (Automatic Power Limitation Service) functionality for the automated management of dispatching orders.

In 2024, Comal signed its first agreement for the use of NUO as a Software as a Service (SaaS) solution, supporting the O&M activities of photovoltaic plants with a total installed capacity of 192 MW.

NUO is the cloud-based platform developed by the experts at Vector Renewables, drawing on twenty years’ experience in asset management and designed to improve the management of power plants. Through automation and data analysis, NUO provides key performance indicators (KPIs), predictive insights and real-time monitoring of technical and financial performance, enabling smarter decision-making within a single integrated platform.

Comal develops large-scale photovoltaic plants through EPCM and O&M services. It handles the design, construction of structural and robotic components, plant installation, testing, commissioning and maintenance, delivering turnkey projects. In addition to the construction of photovoltaic plants, the company also carries out ordinary and extraordinary maintenance activities for conventional power generation plants (mainly thermoelectric power plants). Furthermore, it is a pioneer in the development of grid parity photovoltaic systems.
